Washington - Orcas Island Vacation

We had a great time spending Thanksgiving break with friends on Orcas Island off the coast of Washington. My mom was kind to let us stay at her prestige vacation rental home. The surroundings were breathtaking. It truly was a restful and relaxing vacation with quality time spent together.
Day 1 - Visiting the Seattle Fish Market. So cool.

A family picture with in front of Seattle's famous "Public Market"

Visiting Seattle's Space Needle. Oh my goodness...it was super cold and windy (can you tell by the flying hair?).
Walking the Seattle streets.

Thanksgiving dinner. We made homemade crafts for the dinner table...one being these pilgrim napkin rings with each of our pictures. We all look so jolly!
Ready for a boating trip to learn and see the many islands.

Halloween Fun

Halloween night. Jade as a kitty, Sage as a mummy, and Devin as Mitch (Man Witch)

Sage is such a Ham! She was acting the mummy part.

Jade made the cutest kitty cat The Halloween group
Sage sorting her candy...something we all loved to do when we were kidsI made a special guest appearance at Jade's school and read a book and passed out gifts from my witch purse. The kids just loved the visit and were talking about the "witch" visitor even days later. 3 year olds are so precious and it's just thrilling to see their excitement and innocence.
Then it was off to Devin and Sage's school.

Sage's Soccer team was in a Halloween Tournament. They were cats. They looked great and played great too!

What a Resemblance

It was a deja vu for me when I snapped this picture of Jade. I dug up a similar picture of Sage and was amazed at the resemblance.

Princesses for the Ice Show

Jade was so excited for the Disney Princess Ice Show. Months prior to the event, she'd had been carrying around the post card advertisement. She was especially looking forward to to wearing a princess dress and crown. Sage wanted to match Jade. They look like angels in their white dresses.

Devin's Pee Wee Football Season

Devin just ended his Pee Wee football (ages 10 & 11) season. Andrew was the head coach this year. Devin's primary position was defensive back. Can I say the season was SUPER busy for them both. It's nice to be able to see my boys again!
Devin is the Blue player on the left assisting in a tackle. Jade and me supporting the team in our Rocklin gear...and eavesdropping on Coach Andrew's half-time talk.

Oh my...look at those sweaty boys after a hard practice.

Devin's 6th Grade Science Camp

Devin went on an overnight Science camp to Walker Creek in Marin county. They were there for 5 days. Luckily, Devin was not one of the 40 out of 90 students who got the flu! Devin had so much fun. He enjoyed it so much he said he will look forward to becoming a cabin leader when he becomes eligible as a Junior in High School.

There was tons of luggage.
